Introduction

You’re here either because you know me and are checking in to stay in touch, or because somehow you stumbled upon my site by accident.  Either way, I’m glad to see you.  There’s a lot I hope to share with you.  I’ve tried to make my long-overdue website informative, fun, and useful.  I hope you use it for finding out where to come and find me when I am performing, either to hear some tunes or just say hi.

I am a piano/vocalist, who performs in a style I like to describe as bistro jazz.  This genre includes classic jazz standards – think Frank Sinatra, Ray Charles, Michael Buble and Nat King Cole - and contemporary standards – think Elton John, Billy Joel and John Mayer.  Think of music with style and substance.  It’s the music that moves me.  And singing and playing music is as essential to me as eating and breathing.  That probably explains why I’ve passionately pursued music performance as a career for 36-plus years.
